We were commissioned by Meredith Corporation to rebrand and refresh Better Homes and Gardens — from soup to nuts. BHG had lost its original mission with high-end, unrelatable homes and a voice that was formal. Our job was to bring it back to its original roots … showcasing American attainable, affordable, inspiring homes and gardens. “Take-aways” were a big part of the make-over, marrying service and modern life – allowing for big beautiful pictures and updated, cleaner typography. BHG editors and influencers are introduced into the pages, making for an intimate environment. We updated BHG’s photography and created a warmer, sunnier, current environment that has helped them re-identify the branding identities of the new Better Homes and Gardens.
